What You Should Know About Laser Scar Removal
Laser Scar Removal Pre-Treatment:
Sun exposure and tanning should be avoided for several days prior and post treatment.
Please do not apply make-up or lotion on the treated area.
Any antibiotics or Accutane should not be taken at least 3 weeks before treatment.
Laser Scar Removal Treatment:
Each treatment is 10-15 minutes.
Laser Scar Removal is done through a series of pulses after a cooling gel is applied to your skin.
Laser Scar Removal Post-Treatment:
The treated area will appear slightly red.
Keep skin clean and use sun block with a minimum of SPF 30 daily.
The next treatment should be scheduled within 3-4 weeks after the initial treatment.
If you should experience any irritation or rash after treatment taking Benadryl should help relieve these symptoms.
