SmartLipo takes advantage of laser energy to destroy and liquefy fat cells. The area to be treated is initially anesthetized (numbed) using generous quantities of saline mixed with Lidocaine. Then, a fine fiberoptic probe is advanced through the skin to the general area of unwanted fat. The probe delivers adequate laser energy to break up and melt the fat cells- "lipolysis." A gentle suction then massages the dissolved fat out of the body. A very small percentage is retained, absorbed into the body, and excreted as waste within 24 hours. As SmartLipo is performed under a local anesthetic and patients are fully awake during the entire time; most people are fit to leave within 30 minutes of completion of the procedure.
Melt fat and tighten skin in one visit!
SmartLipo promotes skin tightening through thermal heating and tissue coagulation, something traditional liposuction cannot do. That's why now those with loose skin- who previously were not good candidates for conventional liposuction- can achieve pleasing results.
