How does the Laser Work?
The lasers deliver very short pulses of high intensity light into the treated area. The tattoo inks and pigments then selectively absorb the light without destroying the normal surrounding skin tissue in the process. The tattoo is dissolved into smaller ink particles that are harmlessly removed by the body's immune system in the weeks following treatment. Topical analgestic is also available to numb the area being treated.

What You Should Know About Laser Tattoo Removal

Laser Tattoo Removal Pre-Treatment:

• Discontinue use of Aspirin-like products 10 days prior to your laser tattoo removal treatment.

Laser Tattoo Removal Treatment:

• A topical anesthetic cream will be applied to the tattoo for 30 minutes, after which the laser is passed over the tattoo.
• Each procedure takes between 10-15 minutes depending on the size of the tattoo.

Laser Tattoo Removal Post-Treatment:

• After treatment, the area will be covered with an antibiotic ointment, and sunscreen should be applied there daily. The next treatment will follow in 5-6 weeks.

Results After Laser Tattoo Removal Treatment:

• Dark blue, black and red tattoo inks respond best to laser treatments. Orange and purple tattoo inks respond well. Green and yellow tattoo inks may require additional laser treatments.
