With JUVÉDERM Voluma® XC treatments, Skintology Medical Spa can add volume to areas that appear deficient, wrinkled, or sunken. In fact, Voluma is the first FDA-approved injectable filler that can offer instantaneous cheek volume. As some people age, they can start to lose the soft tissue structure that provides natural volume to the cheeks. This loss effects the overall shape of the face, leading to a “sunken in” appearance. Voluma dermal fillers are added to the three main cheek zones, addressing this diminished volume over the malar (cheekbone) areas. Once the procedure is finished, patients can enjoy a smoother, more finely contoured facial appearance. Patients at Skintology Medical Spa can get injectables such as Voluma in order to obtain a nonsurgical facelift when placed in the correct anatomic areas on select patients who are not in need of or not wanting surgical facial rejuvenation.
